Marseille - (Fall 2024) - Departure Day

Departing Marseille to head along the coast to Nice.

Les Lumières

The guide on the tour said that this was his favorite coffee place so we decided to check it out on the last day. Espresso was pretty good. When I told the guy about how I liked Marseille and how I liked how cheap the bus was to get around he responded: “What do you mean? The bus is free! I think he was half-joking but I’m assuming a lot of the locals just hop on and hop off.

Ô Cabanon

Got to the train station early so we sought out some more kebabs. This little stand served up a kefta sandwich just next to the train station.

Train to Nice

The train ride to Nice goes along the coast and it’s definitely worth trying to sit on the water side of the train for the views.
