Sitting on the 19th floor of Harvey’s, the Sage Room has a great view of the lake and the town of South Lake Tahoe. This location was previously the Nineteen Kitchen and Bar but the Sage Room moved upstairs when the Gordon Ramsey restaurant displaced it on the casino floor.
The Sage Room is your typical old school steakhouse serving up some great fare.
The bar area was better when it was Nineteen because the seating in the bar area was for the bar whereas now it it dedicated to Sage Room dining so it drastically reduced the seating. Also the old men’s bathroom had those hilarious signs on the wall which are no longer there.
Still a great place to grab a drink if you can get a seat - especially if it is daylight out and you can enjoy the view.
