The speakeasy style bar that was here previously was called Single Barrel and Haberdasher continues the tradition of excellent cocktails.

This is one of the best bars in San Jose. They respect the craft and have a rotating seasonal cocktail menu.

It still has a speakeasy feel as you walk down a dark staircase to enter the bar. Haberdasher is better than the previous place as it is more casual. Single Barrel used to try to keep it quiet and asked people to hush in a small space with a low ceiling.

They also have a great whiskey case in the back with some rare bottles. There is also a club you can join that provides you access to premium tastings and other benefits.
